LibSource parent company LAC Group was founded in December of 1986 as a boutique staffing firm for law libraries in southern California. The personal computer was in its earliest days and the internet was under development and used only within academic and government circles.

Thirty years later, the company has evolved into a multinational, cross-industry provider of knowledge and information services that operates several different business units. LibSource is one of those divisions, dedicated to library and information center services for law firms, corporations and other organizations.
